“Why You Mad” is an empowering track focused on standing up to bullies. Sophia Grace says:
How can you get help from bullying? Stand Up for Others. Talk to a parent, teacher, or another adult you trust. Adults need to know when bad things happen so they can help. Be kind to the kid being bullied. Show them that you care by trying to include them. Sit with them at lunch or on the bus, talk to them at school, or invite them to do something. Please Tell Someone!!!
Earlier this year, Sophia Grace joined the Trendsetter roster with her music video for “Hollywood” which features WWE stars, Lana, Naomi, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, and Sasha Banks. “Hollywood” is off of Sophia’s seven-track EP of the same name.
More Info:
Britain’s Sophia Grace is a singer and actress also known as half of the duo Sophia Grace & Rosie. Born in 2003 in Essex, England, she first came to the public’s attention after a video she posted online of her and her cousin Rosie McClelland (born in 2006) performing Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass” went viral. The video caught the attention of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who invited the girls, then aged eight and five years old, respectively, onto her show to perform. This led to regular appearances on the show and a recurring segment in which the duo would interview celebrities during a tea party. Further film and television appearances followed, including a guest spot on Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat, as well as starring roles in the 2014 straight-to-DVD release Sophia Grace & Rosie’s Royal Adventure. In 2015, Grace released the pop single “Best Friends.” The single “Girl in the Mirror,” featuring rapper Silentó, appeared the following year.
