In 2008, when she was just 10-years-old, Rachel moved from Colorado to California to pursue a career in music, making her public debut in 2011 as an artist as a Top 5 finalist on the first season of The X Factor. She has since starred in the 2014 box office smash Rio 2, while her voice shined on the soundtrack standout “Batucada Familia” alongside Jamie Foxx. She has performed the national anthem at The White House and also received a personal invitation from First Lady Michelle Obama to appear at the Kids’ “State Dinner.” An avowed advocate for foster children and active participant in charities such as You Gotta Believe and The Dave Thomas Foundation, Rachel has received the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute’s [CCOAI] “Angels In Adoption” honor. Previously, we worked with her to promote the dance-floor ready single “Dime” via S-Curve Records. The infectious new track, co-written by Rachel with producers Jack and Ryan Met from the group AJR, finds the songstress professing her self-worth over spellbinding layers of drums and synths.
Rachel Crow describes “Dime” as a “feel-good summer song,” explaining ” I think there’s a lot of negativity in the world right now, and I wanted it to be a positive message to these people that are feeling down. I just kind of wanted them to be able to dance and have a great time.
