Trendsetter is thrilled to be working with singer songwriter Mary Lambert again on the release of her fierce new video for “Know Your Name.” Inspired by Taylor Swift’s iconic “Bad Blood” video, Lambert’s all-inclusive babe squad takes to the arcade to bring you the second single off her independently released EP Bold. The cast dukes it out over various games and the video culminates in Lambert’s showdown with Grey’s Anatomy’s Sara Ramirez over an air hockey table. The EP was funded fully by the help of fans on KickStarter and features a touching duet with her mom, Mary Kay Lambert.

Mary Lambert first made waves in the music world when she collaborated with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on the Grammy Award winning “Same Love.” A once struggling musician working three restaurant jobs trying to make ends meet, Lambert has since performed alongside icons like Madonna, released a full length album with Capitol Records (Heart on My Sleeve), and launched her gold-selling hit single “Secrets,” which charted number 1 on the Billboard’s Dance chart.
Inspired by confessional folk artists and spoken-word performers, her music is brutally honest and draws from traumatic memories of her past. In fact, Mary intends her performances to be “safe spaces where crying is encouraged; My entire prerogative is about connection.” Despite her hardships, Mary radiates positivity and joy. Her latest project, Bold “is a queer pop EP about being unabashedly yourself. I think that we are in an era where embracing and loving your real, complex self is radical, and this collection of songs epitomizes that belief” says Lambert.
