Trendsetter is excited to team up with Glee alum Kevin McHale as he releases the music video for his debut single “Help Me Now”. The track is off Kevin’s upcoming EP Boy, out on May 24th via innovative content platform Vydia. The video, highlighting Kevin’s fresh dance moves and cool style, perfectly complements the jubilant funk guitar and swells of eighties style synths of new single “Help Me Now”.
“‘Help Me Now’ is meant to be tongue & cheek,” Kevin explains. “I think it reflects my personality because it’s super self-deprecating and honest and doesn’t take itself too seriously.” The video features a special cameo from longtime friend Nolan Gould, most known for his role on ABC’s Modern Family.
Kevin McHale, previously of FOX’s EMMY® Award-winning Glee and pop group NLT, reintroduces himself via “Help Me Now”, presenting himself as no longer the familiar face on the television set but the voice behind your new favorite song on your Friday afternoon playlist.
Kevin’s debut EP, Boy, was produced by longtime friend, actor, and producer Justin Thorne. The project illuminates the nuances of Kevin’s manic love for a wide swath of genres, finding a middle ground between influences as diverse as SZA and nineties pop favorites a la Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears. The debut EP will be released May 24th via Vydia and will be a bright introduction to soon-to-be pop hit Kevin McHale.
