Chicago singer/songwriter Jeremih has topped the charts several times with his 2009 debut “Birthday Sex,” club favorite “Down on Me” featuring 50 Cent, and the Top Ten pop hit “Don’t Tell ‘Em.” Aside from Chris Brown and Big Sean, Jeremih has collaborated with other big name artists like Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, and Nicki Minaj.
His latest song “I Think of You,” off his fourth studio album Later That Night due later this year, already has 10 million streams on Spotify and over one million views on YouTube. The collaboration with Chris Brown and Big Sean was a whim. Jeremih explains: “I dropped a couple of verses on ‘I Think of You.’ [Yung] Berg ended up hitting me one day like, ‘I’m in here with Chris [Brown]. Do you mind if he gets on it?’ So I was thinking if there’s anyone who should be on it, it should be him. For R&B, it’d be dope. We completed it but then we played it for Big Sean then he blessed it with a verse.”
