Trendsetter is thrilled to be working with American metalcore band Underøath after they dropped the video for their track “Rapture” today.

The track comes off of the Tampa-based rockers’ upcoming album, Erase Me─ their 8th studio album since debuting in 1997─ set to be released on April 6. Chock-full of anthemic lyrics and experimental visuals, the video accompanies the band’s cover and in-depth interview in Alternative Press as well as the exciting announcement of a world tour set to take off next month.
Unveiled via Apple Music, the video features an intense performance by members Spencer Chamberlain, Timothy McTague, James Smith, Grant Brandell, Christopher Dudley, and Aaron Gillespie as they ward off faceless demons in the limelight.
“I think we really wanted to capture something different with this video,” said guitar player Tim McTague of the video. “The song is so unique for Underøath and we have always been a visual band. I think being able to tell a visual story with an audible narrative that ties everything together is one of the things that makes Underøath special to fans. We are stoked to see the reaction.”
Erase Me was written and recorded last summer alongside the likes of Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, 3OH!3) and Ken Andrews (Failure, Jimmy Eat World), and is available for pre-order now.
