TSM is excited to be working with Kirtland Records artist Alpha Rev! With the help of our friends at mtvU, Trendsetter secured a premiere for their new video “Sing Loud” with featured homepage placement, as well as airplay on the channel every hour on the hour!
Straight out of Austin, Texas, the alternative rock band was formed in 2005, fronted by Casey McPherson. Alpha Rev released its debut album, The Greatest Thing I’ve Ever Learned, in 2007. With the release of their second album New Morning in 2010, the band’s single off the album went to #3 on the Triple A radio charts and was also featured on the top 10 video rotation on VH1. Alpha Rev is more than a band name, it’s a motto. The band name is half Latin and half Greek put together which loosely means “the beginning of something new”.
Already being known for their growing success, Alpha Rev’s songs have been featured on Bravo’s “NYC Prep”, The CW’s “Melrose Place” and ABC Family’s “Greek”. Not to mention these boys have shared the stage with OneRepublic, Owl City, OK Go, Sara Vareilles and Jason Mraz just to name a few. Alpha Rev is anticipating its third album release entitled Bloom on March 19, 2013.
