Team Trendsetter is so excited to be working with mōmi Brands, Inc., who are about to revolutionize the baby feeding industry, with breast pumps and bottles that replicate the biomechanical functions of natural nursing.
mōmi’s founder and CEO, Carr Lane Quackenbush, formerly led the U.S. division of Medela, a leading global breast pump manufacturer. Upon retiring from Medela in 2011, Quackenbush believed the industry had yet to deliver a breast pump or infant feeding system that replicated the important biomechanical properties of natural nursing. Returning to his roots as a PhD engineer and inventor, he set about to innovate new products like the mōmi breast pump and the mōmi nipple.
All breast pumps on the market today operate on a single common principle of physics, negative pressure (suction), while the mōmi pump will combine both negative pressure (suction) and positive pressure (compression) to create the most natural feeling possible. As for the mōmi nipple, it is truly natural, as it replicates the physical properties of mom’s nipple. It enables the natural sucking rhythm of breastfeeding and allows the baby to shut off the flow with tongue pressure, replicating natural flow regulation.
