Trendsetter is thrilled to welcome Ultra’s newest addition, Shaun Frank, to the 2017 roster with the video for his latest single “No Future” featuring Dyson. The Canadian DJ has had quite a memorable come up, between co-writing The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” and recently being nominated for a Juno (Canadian Grammy) for his latest solo single “Let You Get Away ft. Ashe,” the Toronto-based artist is ready to embark on a new chapter of his career.

For a rising EDM star, Shaun Frank had an unlikely entrance into the music world. Before his DJing days, the 35 year old got his start as a vocalist for local punk bands. His one band, The Envy, caught the eye of Kiss’ Gene Simmons, who sighed the band to his label in the early 2000s. Eventually, he transitioned into the EDM world, providing vocals for artists like Nicky Romero, Dyro, and Lush & Simon before venturing out on his own.
When speaking on his journey, Shaun shares, “‘No Future ft. Dyson’ ironically marks the beginning of an awesome new stage in my career, signing with ULTRA records, a big new single, and massive North American tour around it. I’ve done so many collaborations the last couple years, so i’m excited to give my fans a bunch of brand new solo Shaun Frank music. I’ve been sitting on a lot of this new music for awhile, so to finally have the new single come out and be heard is the best feeling. The response I’m getting from from fans and friends hearing it in at my shows recently is incredible, some kids already singing the words back to me and the songs not even out yet is insane. Im also really excited to be working with such an experienced and dedicated tight knit team over at ULTRA records to release my music globally. We’re in touch almost everyday strategizing and we’re equally excited for the world to hear “No Future” and all the new music to come. I’ve had some time off the road the last month, but The “No Future” tour is kicking of this weekend in Miami, and going all the way until June so I’m excited to hit some new cities i haven’t been to before, and of course return to some of my favorite ones and see all my friends and fans!’
Be sure to catch Shaun Frank on his 30+ date tour in North America in support of “No Future” single, including some shows with the Chainsmokers on their huge arena tour.
