The Chainsmokers and Halsey are closer than ever before in the new music video for their hit song, “Closer.” The video has impressively already managed to rack up 5.2 million views on YouTube in one day. “Closer” has remained at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for over nine weeks now and the video comes just a few months after the duo delivered a steamy performance of the song alongside Halsey on the 2016 MTV VMAs.

The Chainsmokers, consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, made their first major breakthrough in the music scene with their infectious hit song, “#Selfie,” in 2014 and have since released their debut EP Bouquet, along with several Billboard Hot 100 singles including “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” which received over 437 million streams on Spotify, and “Closer,” which will be their third song to go double platinum in 2016. They are currently on tour in Europe and are returning to the US this Friday October, 28th to continue their tour before leaving for Europe again in February of 2017.
