Aperture Entertainment, an LA based boutique management/production company, and Trendsetter Media & Marketing, an NYC marketing company that specializes in music & video publicity, announce their involvement with Jessica Lowndes’ latest music video “Deja Vu” Remix. The two teams collaborated on the conceptualization, plan and launch of the phantom relationship that took the internet by storm. The NSFW video, which features Jon Lovitz, debuted this afternoon, but only after the news of their questionable May/December relationship and engagement covered the web.Lowndes cleverly utilized her Instagram to slowly start laying clues of her new, older and wiser secret lover. A casual sunday night tweet by Jon slammed it home, revealing Jessica as his Easter “bunny”.
Aperture Entertainment‘s Adam Goldworm, Jessica‘s long time manager, brought Trendsetter on board to assist with this video promotion and the plan leading up to its debut. From brainstorming sessions, with well thought out Snaps, Tweets and Instagram pics, Lowndes and both teams discussed the project in-depth to mastermind the tease resulting in the inevitable ‘hot couple alert’ and the rest they say, is well, history!
“To be perfectly selfish, I’m an April Fools Day baby, and I’ve never pulled an April Fools prank before. This felt like a great time to start and an equally great way to get the blogosphere obsessing about Lowndes. I’m happy to report that millions of men can go to sleep happy knowing Lowndes is still single. On top of everything, as a child of the 80s, it was a special gift to get the incredible Lovitz back in the spotlight.” Adam Goldworm, founder of Aperture Entertaiment.
“When we first saw the initial Jessica Lowndes video cut, we knew we had our hands on something really special. With Jessica‘s loyal fanbase, and of course Jon Lovitz being the comedy legend that he is, the pairing was gold. We had the ability to set the stage for an incredible launch and couldn’t be happier with the coverage & attention the video has received.” Allie Gruensfelder, VP of Marketing, Trendsetter Marketing
The engagement rumors were covered everywhere from CNN to The Today Show, to Buzzfeed and Elite Daily, and found itself atop the Facebook trends. The early April Fools’ prank, the official music video, led to featured placement across the internet, as well as interview requests from top news outlets.
