Trendsetter is thrilled to welcome Maryland-based post-grunge/pop-punk group Good Charlotte to the 2017 roster with the nostalgic video ‘War” off the band’s 2016 album, Youth Authority. The moving video features a young boy who is trying to find his way through life as he deals with family tension at home and not being able to fit in as he continuously hangs out alone. But he soon finds a friend in another outcast who gets knocked down by a classmate at an arcade.

Although Good Charlotte is a new artist to our roster, this will not be Trendsetter’s first time working with the Madden brothers. Trendsetter’s Anti-Flag, Sleeping With Sirens, and Hollywood Undead are all managed by the Madden brothers, two of which (Joel and Benji) front the iconic East coast post-grunge pioneer group. Since gracing the world with pop punk essentials like “The Anthem,” “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” “I Don’t Wanna Be in Love,” “Little Things,” and “Girls & Boys,” the brothers have been busy launching a clothing line, starring as coaches on The Voice Australia, settling down, and forming MDDN—a management company focusing on publishing, production and A&R. The company allows the brothers to hone in on their coaching skills, applying years of experience on the road to those on their lengthy roster. We are thrilled to be working with the Madden brothers from a different perspective—as half of Good Charlotte—with the release of this new video.
Good Charlotte will be hitting the road for a UK tour this fall, and will also be performing on the first-ever Warped Rewind At Sea cruise. Be sure to check out Good Charlotte’s website to see a complete list of their upcoming shows.
