“We are absolutely over the moon to be joining the Fearless Family,” says vocalist Caitlin Henry. “To have the opportunity to be on the same record label as the bands that inspire us and to work with people so honestly passionate about music feels like a dream come true. We are excited for everyone to hear the tracks on Carried Away and come with us on this journey as we see what happens next! Thank you to everyone who has ever believed in us; we wouldn’t be here without you!”
EAT YOUR HEART OUT – The Newcastle, Australia, 5-piece injects a fresh, energetic burst of flair into today’s alternative rock scene. Led by frontwoman Caitlin Henry, Eat Your Heart Out has been making waves since the release of their debut EP Distance Between Us in May 2015 with their relatable lyrics driven by their ability to churn out a unique blend of grunge riffs and brooding rock tunes from Andrew Anderson (Guitar), Will Moore (Guitar), Dom Cant (Bass), and Jake Cronin (Drums). Since their formation in 2012, the band has found themselves onstage alongside national and international acts such as Hands Like Houses, Trophy Eyes, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, and more. With their signing to Fearless Records and the release of Carried Away, Eat Your Heart Out is ready to introduce three dynamic tracks that place a strong emphasis on musical and vocal melodies that are gritty yet hypnotizing enough to get stuck in your head. The self-reflective EP shows the young band at their most vulnerable, yet also most courageous to date, as they touch on topical coming-of-age issues as they experience changes with people, relationships, and even themselves.
