Global superstar Diplo unveils a new track, “Look Back,” featuring DRAM—watch the video, directed by Brandon Dermer (“What Would Diplo Do?”)
The song is the first to be revealed from a forthcoming EP, California, set for release this spring. California will be the first solo body of work from Diplo since 2013’s Revolution EP.
Jimmy Fallon unveiled the EP’s artwork on “The Tonight Show” when Diplo, MØ and Goldlink performed “Get It Right,” also featured on the EP, on the show last week. Watch the performance here .
The new music follows a remarkable year for Diplo. Major Lazer’s documentary Give Me Future, shot at the group’s historic, 400,000-person Havana, Cuba show in March 2016, premiered via Apple Music after debuting to rave reviews at this year’s Sundance Festival. The band also released a companion album to the film entitled Major Lazer Presents: Give Me Future—Music From and Inspired by the Filmand an acclaimed EP, Know No Better.
