Camila Cabello got her start in the music world auditioning for the X Factor at 15 alongside what would soon be the girl group Fifth Harmony. Though the quintet finished in third place, they went on to be the most successful act from that season. Throughout her career, Cabello has worked with a plethora of artists. While with Fifth Harmony, the group collaborated with Meghan Trainor on “Sledgehammer” and Kid Ink on “Worth It.” As a solo artist, Cabello has previously joined forces with Shawn Mendes (“I Know What You Did Last Summer”) and Machine Gun Kelly (“Bad Things”).
In just a few days, “Crying in the Club” has managed to rack up over 7 million views on YouTube. In a recent Instagram post, Camila said the song is the story of “my journey from darkness into light, from a time when I was lost to a time when I found myself again.”
