Made up of Mike Di Scala and Dave Whelan, CamelPhat mixes deep house and techno to create a signature sound that sets them apart from other artists. Before producing music, they spent years as resident DJs, where they learned the ropes of the dance music industry. They had their first release in 2010 and grew from there, working with the likes of Danny Howard, Tiga, Annie Mac, and Kidnap Kid.
Early digital EPs and singles were released via Vice and Nervous Records until they signed to Spinnin’ Records in 2014. That year, breakout hits, “The Act” and “Paradigm,” earned them two number one spots on the Buzz Charts, and “Constellation” followed up with the same honor the next year.
2016 was an electric year, when CamelPhat took the stages across the UK, Europe, and America at iconic events including We Are FSTVL, Leeds Festival, Tomorrow Land, Amnesia, Pacha, and the Miami Music Conference.
CamelPhat is spending 2018 on the road in the UK and will perform at several festivals in Europe starting in the Spring.
