The world got its first glimpse of Cam’s gift at age nine during an “America’s Got Talent” audition. Soon after his appearance, he began posting videos covering popular hit songs, launching his own music career via social media. He became a social media singing sensation, with covers of songs such as “Royals” and “I Won’t Give Up” garnering so much attention, it landed him an appearance on “The Ellen Show;” two performances at the White House for President Barack Obama’s Easter Egg Roll events; and as the opening act for KEM’s ‘What Christmas Means’ Holiday concert with Patti LaBelle & Ron Isley.
Cam recently performed “Change Gonna Come” and “Glory” at the 2015 NAACP National Convention in Philadelphia, alongside some of R&B’s best, including Eric Benét, Eddie Levert, Chrisette Michele and Howard Hewitt. Prior to his performance, he appeared on his first radio interview with Frankie Darcell at WDAS, Philly’s R&B/Classic Soul station. Cam also performed at the 2015 Tom Joyner Family Reunion in Orlando.
