The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards delivered notable performances, empowering calls for unity and equality, and nominations for some of the most impressive music videos of the year. This year, Trendsetter had the honor of working with several nominees including Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic,” The Chainsmokers and Halsey’s “Closer,” “Major Lazer, Justin Bieber, and MØ’s “Cold Water,” and Logic and Damian Lemar Hudson’s “Black SpiderMan.” Among the winners was Trendsetter’s Kendrick Lamar, whose “HUMBLE.” video swept the floor with wins for Best Hip Hop Video, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Video of the Year.

Additionally, Trendsetter’s Logic took home an award for Best Fight Against the System, a category whose videos shed light upon inequalities and pushed for change. Logic’s “Black SpiderMan” featuring Damian Lemar Hudson focused on Race and the LGBTQ community.
